BURNT GARLIC PULAO WITH FRIED POTATOES.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup basmati rice


  • 10 pods of garlic finely chopped


  • 3 to 4 green chillies chopped


  • 2 and half cups water


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp


  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder


  • salt to taste(around 1 tsp)


  • handful of coriander leaves(1/2 cup)


  • Veggies 1 cup (optional,any of ur choice)


  • For fried potatoes.....( 4 potatoes )


  • Salt to taste (1 tsp)


  • Oil to deep fry (1 cup)


  • Red chilli powder 1tsp


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp for potatoes


  • Coriander pwd 1tsp


  • Aamchur pwd 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • soak rice for half an hour
  • in a rice pot add 2tbsp of oil
  • when oil heats up at garlic chopped
  • let the garlic burn till brown then add green chillies chopped
  • and turmeric powder and red chilli powder(veggies are b added at this stage if u want)( I haven't added any veggies as I like plain )
  • stir and add water
  • let the water boil an add rice and salt to taste
  • when Rice are boiling only few droplets of water are left Simmer the gas
  • cover the pan and cook still rice are done
  • Serve with coriander leaves
  • for making Fried potatoes you have to chop potatoes as per your wish
  • heat oil and describe them adding salt
  • now take the potatoes in another pan
  • add all masalas (turmeric powder, red chilli powder coriander powder, amchoor powder and Stir)
  • potatoes with rice a lovely combination
